How I Got Here

I wasn't always a vet at dating and "hooking" men, in fact, I was always the girl being overlooked (I mean look at those old pics of me - yikes!). I've lived more than half my life without a shred of confidence and I'll be honest, no guy ever gave me a second look. So yeah, I know what it feels like to think "I just don't have what it takes".

When I went to university I was opened to a whole new world of insecurity. It was a breeding ground for hot girls, and was I one of them? No. No guy even batted an EYE at me. Did it hurt, of course, but was it a shock? Nope.

I only had white friends and saw them getting attention, being called hot, and quite frankly being fawn over. I would lay awake at night in my dorm room and wonder "It's my skin color isn't it?". The reason I'm being overlooked is my skin color. 

There was no chance a guy was ever gonna become obsessed with me.

So I KNOW how you feel. I get you.

Then I realized... 

I changed my perception around what it would take to get guys hooked (and no it wasn't changing my identity 🤣). I started treating it like a game, putting strategies in place and thinking outside the traditional "dating" advice.
